When we Reimagine Azamara, our two ships, Azamara Journey® and Azamara Quest®, will undergo innovative transformations. As part of the reimagination, we are rejuvenating how you rejuvenate with a full remodel to the spa. We’re relaxed just thinking about it.
Our transformed Azamara Spa concept begins with a new name: The Sanctum. And it certainly lives up to its new title. The reimagined Sanctum spa will incorporate new programs with a focus on wellness and vigor. Guests can enjoy several holistic health and beauty treatments combining eastern and western wellness elements.
Aesthetically, The Sanctum will be revitalized with sleek new carpeting, wall coverings, windows and more. The refreshed look and elegant contemporary style will be apparent the moment you walk through the beautifully redesigned Sanctum entrance. The floor plan of Sanctum has been reworked, allowing for better display areas and an open-air space for select spa services on the private outdoor deck. Oceanfront massages, anyone?
The open floor plan will include a nail bar and pedicure area, perfect for a manicure before heading out for a night on the town. Dedicated stations for barber services, teeth whitening, and hair services will have a home at Sanctum along with the Medi-spa and acupuncture clinic.
But the very best part may be the new Spa Suites. Now you can visit the spa without ever leaving your room. These suites will be complete with lush new décor, refined carpets, modern lighting, custom designed fabrics and contemporary furniture. A spacious veranda with your private tub overlooking the ocean, a masterfully designed bathroom with his and her sinks, rich wood grains, and a separate rain shower make these the most sought after rooms onboard. Spa Suite guests will also enjoy exclusive amenities in addition to the standard and suite guest amenities.
