We cannot wait to share these new moments with you.

To celebrate, we’re highlighting some of our favorite all-new experiences that will take you off the beaten path and onto the road (and waters) less traveled when you explore the world with us. Read on to learn more about our North America Land Program experiences.

A Land of Opportunity

Ocean Drive in Miami, Florida

Brimming with adventure, North America is a continent where your next unforgettable travel moment is waiting just around the corner. It’s a melting pot of cultures and ideas, as well as unparalleled natural beauty. Whatever your vision of North America is—be it the glitz and glamor of the big cities or the small-town charms that writers and artists have built careers out of exploring—you’ll see it for yourself when you explore with us. From the Atlantic to the Pacific, here are the journeys we can’t wait to take you on across North America.

Key West, the Heming-Way

A famous secret passage to the beach in Key West, Florida

Key West was more than a home for Ernest Hemingway. It was where he penned some of his most significant literary achievements, including drafts of A Farewell to Arms and To Have and Have Not. It was also where he spent the vast majority of the 1930s. We’ll explore what made this city—the southernmost in all of the United States—so special to him on the Key West in The Footsteps of Hemingway Land Journey.

While this journey includes two unforgettable nights in Key West, it begins in Miami, where you’ll spend the evening in South Beach. Colorful, sultry, and full of character, your time in South Beach will include marveling at the art-deco architecture and dancing the night away to the rhythms carrying over the midnight air before returning to your luxurious accommodations.

Ernest Hemingway House, Key West, Florida

The next day, we’ll make our way south to Key West—a drive highlighted by stunning panoramic views and a crossing on the 7-Mile Bridge that connects Florida’s middle and lower keys. When we arrive, it’s off to Hemingway House for welcome cocktails and an exclusive private tour of the author’s beautiful home. You’ll step foot inside Mr. Hemingway’s private writing room for a glimpse at where his work was done. And if you keep your eyes peeled, you may even see a few six and seven-toed cats—descendants of Hemingway’s original furry companions. Afterwards, we’ll retire to the gardens for a lesson in making Hemingway’s favorite drinks, such as the Negroni, Americano, and Daiquiri, then toast to the spirit of Hemingway and the incredible legacy he left behind.

A slice of Key Lime Pie

But the lessons don’t stop with mixing cocktails. We’ll also learn the secret to making a perfect Key Lime Pie from a local, then join an island foodie walk where we’ll sample some of the best dishes Key West has to offer. Your journey will be capped off with a cruise of the waters around Key West, where you’ll enjoy a stunning sunset with a cocktail in hand.

Bienvenidos a Miami

Vintage Car Parked along Ocean Drive in South Beach. Miami, Florida

Interested in seeing even more of Miami? Join us for a journey beyond the neon-infused charms of the “Magic City” to discover what makes it such a unique North American destination. With our local guides, we’ll make our way west of downtown to Little Havana, the heart of Cuban culture in Miami. Here, it’s not just warmth from the sun you’ll feel, as the people who call this neighborhood home are well known for their hospitality. Stop for a game of dominos as you stroll Calle Ocho, enjoy an authentic Cuban meal, and duck into Ball & Chain—the iconic local music venue—for a drink and some songs.

Art Deco buildings in Miami, Florida

We’ll also take you on a tour through the bold lines and even bolder color palette of Miami’s Art Deco District, where you’ll travel back in time along Española Way and have plenty of time to explore the city at your own pace. Looking for suggestions? We recommend a stop at the Vizcaya Museum or, if you’re feeling the need for an escape from the hustle and bustle, a visit to the Fairchild Tropical Garden—the largest tropical botanical gardens in the United States.

Don’t Sleep on Napa Valley Wines

For many, Napa Valley is the first region that comes to mind when they think of North American wines. And it makes sense. With bold flavors and subtle nuances to be found in every pour, Napa Valley is quintessential wine country—one you can explore when you join us on the Gourmand, Napa Valley, and Meadowood Land Journey.

You’ll stay three nights at the beautiful Forbes 5-star Meadowood Napa Resort, where your days will be spent with an expert guide as you make your way through vibrant vineyards and beautiful boutique wineries. You’ll learn Napa winemaking traditions and enjoy tastings of local favorites, including an exclusive experience at CADE Estate Winery. More than an opportunity to sample Napa Valley’s finest wines, these tastings are designed to provoke conversations about winemaking techniques while providing you with genuine local insight.

Foodies will love Napa, especially savoring a special gourmet dinner at the Michelin-rated Farmhouse Restaurant. Known for its ever-changing menus inspired by the chef’s daily visits to local farms, a dinner at Farmhouse Restaurant is often as delicious as it is unexpected.

We’ll also visit The Fork, a culinary education center that explores the history of the region’s local agriculture, join an expert-led sampling of farm-fresh cheeses, and join the team at Hog Island Oysters for a private tasting and tour. If you fancy yourself a seafood lover, you won’t want to miss this.

(Ooh La) LA

Manhattan Beach at sunset in Los Angeles, California

If the “City of Angels” is on your bucket list, we’ll help make sure you do it right. A Los Angeles visit with us begins with a full-day tour of the most iconic landmarks in Hollywood and Beverly Hills. You’ll see the Hollywood sign, have a chance to visit your favorite celebrity’s star on the Walk of Fame, explore the world-famous Chinese Theatre, where many of the biggest movie premieres of all time have taken place. Then, it’s time to follow your own path like Hollywood’s brightest stars. Indulge in the glitz and glamor or make your way to the coast for a stroll along Venice Beach and an afternoon on the Santa Monica Pier. Take a hike through the canyons, or pay an evening visit to the Griffith Observatory for a view so spectacular you’d swear you’re in a movie.

Of course, LA is more than just larger-than-life sights—it’s also home to some of the most delectable food you’ll ever have the opportunity to eat. Whether it’s malawach at Bavel, an a la carte experience at Yours Truly, or Asian-American fusion at Nightshade, odds are you’ll enjoy one of the best meals of your life when you visit LA. Beyond the biggest restaurant names, however, you’ll find a thriving culinary scene waiting to be explored. Feel like a fish taco? Make your way to Ricky’s. Craving a classic burger? Make your way to BNSD (Burgers Never Say Die). Has Thai caught your eye? Grab a table at the Sri Siam Cafe. There’s no doubt, you’ll find something to satisfy every craving in Los Angeles.

Seven Things to do in Croatia

Croatia has seen a sort of transformation recently, one that has taken it from a hidden gem of coastal delights to one of the hottest travel destinations in Europe. What makes this small Balkan nation so appealing? It could be the brilliant sapphire waters of the Adriatic and spectacular white beaches. Or maybe it’s the medieval architecture and walled towns steeped in history begging to be uncovered. Or perhaps it’s the friendly, welcoming people and unique folk culture.
