From Sea to Shining Sea
For those who crave a cross of off-the-beaten-path gems and iconic attractions, this voyage takes you from the Adriactic to the Aegean sea. With five countries to visit and two UNESCO World Heritage Sites to discover, your journey starts in Venice, where you’ll be swept away by the city’s romance and extravagant architecture before departing for Slovenia. During your late-night stay in Koper, experience the first UNESCO World Heritage site of your trip and tour one of Europe’s best-kept secrets—the city of Ljubljana.
Then, you’ll revel in the juxtaposition of Zadar, a place where cobblestone streets lead to contemporary buildings, and nature and technology are immaculately integrated. Your next UNESCO World Heritage site awaits you with a late stay in Dubrovnik (a city that’s a mecca for appreciators of the arts and architecture).
After a relaxing day and night at sea, prepare for a late night in Chania, an old city with a diverse blend of civilizations, with Green, Venetian, and Ottoman influences around every corner. Next, sail to the gem of the Aegean—Santorini. Stroll the bustling streets and volcanic beaches before finishing your day with a glass of Vinsanto and a postcard-worthy sunset.
A late night in Ephesus gives you ample time to explore before you get wrapped up in the entrancing energy of Mykonos. Finally, fulfill your coastal escapade in Athens. Considered the birthplace of Western civilization, this capital city is bursting with art, history, cuisine, and culture to explore.
