Experience two distinctly different but equally charming Greek villages. Begin with a drive into the highlands that leads to Lefkes, the capital of Paros during The Middle Ages. Perched 1000 feet above sea level and largely untouched by tourism, a stroll through town presents a delightful maze of whitewashed homes and Venetian architecture. Visit the Church of Agia Triada to view its rare Byzantine icons, and tour the Folk Museum for a rare glimpse into Aegean heritage. Your exploration continues with a short drive to the fishing village of Naoussa. Tucked along a sweeping bay, this is widely considered one of the prettiest villages in the Cyclades. Wander past cozy homes covered in vibrant blooms, and amble along the harbor dotted with colorful fishing boats. Look up to view the ruins of a Venetian castle and wander into main square for a fresh-brewed coffee and snack at a local café.
