Enter the world of Salvador Dalí on this journey that will take you to the Dalí Museum in Figueres and to the Dalí Castle in Púbol. Begin with a visit to the magnificent Dalí Museum. Dalí built the building around the former Municipal Theater. Here, his first exhibition was held. Today, the museum houses most of the artist's famous pieces, including "Rainy Taxi," "Sala Mae West," and his enormous portrait of Abraham Lincoln. Dalí is buried in a church near the site, which was also the location of his christening and funeral. After exploring the museum, you'll continue on to the Figueres Restaurant for a seasonal three-course meal. Then, travel to the Dalí Castle in Púbol. The medieval building is itself a work of art dedicated to Dalí's wife, Gala. The castle was purchased in poor condition, but was later restored, while preserving the scars of the passage of time.
Discover the artwork and life of Dalí at the Dalí Museum in Figueres.
Visit the fascinating Dalí Castle in Púbol, a monument to Dalí's love for his wife, Gala.
Enjoy a seasonal three-course menu at the wonderful Figueres Restaurant.
