Book This Shore Excursion
Starting from $189 USD / Adult
You'll be guided through Cartagena's old city center to the Market Hall. The region, known as "the orchard of Europe," produces some of the country´s best fruit and vegetables, which you'll get to see and sample as you stroll through the aisles. After, head to a local restaurant where you'll enjoy refreshing sangria, and watch as the chef prepares his specialty—paella (or caldero). You'll learn, step by step, the secrets to cooking it before sitting down to enjoy Spain's famous dish. Finish off your tour at CaféLab. In 1974, Francisco Bernal established a traditional coffee toaster in his house; a legacy that was passed down to his son who created CaféLab, which combines the most traditional ways of treating coffee with the most innovative and avant-garde concepts. Here, you'll discover the Café Asiático, the most famous coffee recipe in Cartagena, and taste two different types of coffee.
  • Join your guide on a tour of the local market.
  • Learn how to cook a traditional paella at a local restaurant.
  • Stop by CaféLab for a coffee tasting.
