Unwind on a panoramic drive that leads to the storied streets of Rabat, capital of Morocco. Upon arrival, you'll begin an immersive journey that reveals the cultural and imperial roots of this African nation. Your first stop is the grand palace that serves as the primary residence of the King of Morocco. Spend some time admiring the grounds and majestic architecture before setting out into oldest quarter of the city on foot. Stroll through the Medina as your local guide talks about the many events these narrow streets have witnessed throughout the ages. Soon, you'll come upon a 19th-century riad that's been lovingly transformed into Morocco's Center of Cross Cultural Learning. Listen to a revealing talk by a local expert that provides insight into Morocco's cultural and social heritage. After breakfast, continue your walk to unveil the splendor of the Andalusian Gardens of the Kasbah of Oudayas that dates back to the 17th century. Your visit to Rabat will conclude with visits to the Mohamed V mausoleum and Hassan Tower. You will then enjoy lunch at Riad inside the medina before embarking on your drive back to Casablanca.
