Time has a way of slipping away when you're on an Azamara cruise. Departure times, however, need to be strictly observed. But don't worry, we've got all the information you need so that you know exactly what to do.
Departure times may vary and be as early as noon, so you are encouraged to allow plenty of time to get to the port on the day of boarding. For the specific boarding time of your voyage, please check with your travel professional or check My Account.
As a convenience, all boarding times are noted in your travel documents. Suite guests are invited to take advantage of priority boarding privileges. When checking in at the cruise terminal, please follow the signs for Suite Guests to enjoy this special benefit.
Government regulations require Azamara to submit final departure manifests. You (and your guests) must board the ship at least 90 minutes prior to our scheduled departure time. If you fail to check in at least 90 minutes before our scheduled departure, this constitutes a "no-show" and will result in an automatic cancellation of your booking and assessment of cancellation charges.

For your convenience, porters are generally available at the airport and pier to handle your baggage from curbside to your ship. Please remember to keep your valuables, medications, documents, and fragile items with you.
On the last day of your voyage, your cruise director will provide detailed instructions about clearing customs. We highly recommend that you attend this important and informative talk.
If you need to join your voyage late or leave early, it is important to submit your request well in advance of your departure date. Various domestic and international laws govern the ability to join or depart from a voyage in progress, based on a ship's itinerary and guest's citizenship. Your advance request will enable us to tell you whether your proposed schedule changes are permitted.

No refunds or prorated fares can be granted if you join a voyage late or leave early. Some governments impose fines or other charges when a guest permanently debarks from a voyage before its final port of call, and the departing guest will be responsible for these charges.
Please note that due to restrictions under the U.S. Passenger Vessels Services Act (the Jones Act), we cannot accept reservations for back-to-back voyages that begin in one U.S. port and conclude in a different U.S. port. In the event such an itinerary is booked, Azamara Cruises reserves the right to cancel one of the cruises at the passenger's expense.

To receive the assistance you need, be sure to notify our Access Department in writing (email: firstname.lastname@example.org) no later than 40 days before US sailings, and 80 days before all other sailings.
