Your day begins with a drive to Egypt’s largest city, Cairo. Stop at the Citadel of Saladin, where you can admire the exquisite interiors of the Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali. Then, drive to the River Nile, where a luxurious cruise boat awaits to sail you on the same timeless waterway traversed by pharaohs, queens, and nobles thousands of years ago. Enjoy a buffet lunch in elaborate interiors as you glide past Cairo’s waterfront landmarks. Your last stop is the Giza Plateau, where The Great Pyramids of Giza are found. Explore the pyramids on your own before continuing down the valley to visit the guardian of this mortuary complex, the mysterious Sphinx. Then, continue to a Papyrus Institute where you'll see a demonstration on the art of paper making from reeds first discovered by the Ancient Egyptians. Spend some time souvenir shopping before your return drive to Alexandria.

Walking during this tour will be over gravel surfaces at the Pyramids and there are 20 steps at the Cruising Restaurant where lunch will be served.
Tour is not suitable for wheelchair-confined guests.

The visit to the interior of the Pyramids is not part of the tour and requires an extra fee. Not recommended for people suffering from claustrophobia or who have back and/or knee problems. The corridor is dark and low and most of the time - visitors have to stoop or bend their knees while they walk. The main chamber is totally empty, and very humid and dark inside. No cameras or videos allowed inside.
A lot of vendors sell all sorts of souvenirs at the Pyramids, especially at the Western Plateau. Please always consult and seek the advice of your guide.
During the Holy Month of Ramadan, sites are closed earlier than usual. On those days, it is recommended to visit all sites first and then proceed for lunch.
