One-of-a-kind, complimentary, immersive cultural experiences exclusively created for Azamara guests, continuing our commitment to Destination Immersion®. First launched in 2011 to inspire guests to dive deeper into the heart of each destination, these extraordinary evenings showcase music, art, and culinary traditions in unique settings where authentic culture truly comes alive.

Most AzAmazing Evenings® take place ashore, often in iconic venues while the ship stays late in port, aligning with our hallmark of Destination Immersion®, bringing guests closer to local culture in remarkable locations. On select occasions, including seven- and eight-night itineraries, equally captivating experiences are brought onboard.

*For sailings of 9 nights or longer, exceptions may occur when local infrastructure does not allow for an onshore event; in such cases, the experience will be hosted onboard. In rare cases—such as select transoceanic crossings or charters—AzAmazing Evenings® will not be offered.

Our favorite AzAmazing Evening was our first! It began with an after hours tour of The Museum of Old and New Art (MONA) in Hobart, Tasmania, followed by beverages and canapés. We pride ourselves on being the cruise for those who love travel, so from the moment you book your cruise with us, we want your entire trip to be smooth sailing from start to finish.

If you booked a cruise that is seven nights or longer and is not a transoceanic cruise or a charter you will be able to enjoy one of our complimentary AzAmazing Evenings®.

• 9 nights or longer: Nearly every cruise will feature an on-shore event in a memorable destination. Exceptions include where an onshore event is not possible due to infrastructure; in these cases, the experience will be hosted onboard.

• 7–8-night cruises: Guests will enjoy the event onboard the ship.

• Cruises shorter than 7 nights, transoceanic and charters: An AzAmazing Evening® is not offered.

We aim to have AzAmazing Evening details finalized about 6-9 months prior to cruise, so guests can look forward to the experience in advance. Please note, however, that all programming is always subject to change as we get closer to the sailing. Final confirmation will be provided once onboard.

There is no formal dress code for AzAmazing Evenings. As this is a night out, you may choose to dress up if you wish, though smart casual is always appropriate. We recommend checking the local weather and dressing comfortably for the conditions.

In some venues, guests may be asked to cover their shoulders or follow modest attire guidelines. If this applies, it will be clearly noted in the event description. We encourage you to review the description and/or check with the shore excursions team to confirm any specific requirements.

You are not required to, but we would appreciate it, as it helps us better understand how many guests will be attending and ensures we can arrange the appropriate amount of transportation if needed.

All events vary. Most of our AzAmazing Evenings include a welcome drink when available. Please check the event description and/or confirm with the shore excursions staff for details.

AzAmazing Evenings are complimentary experiences included for all our guests as part of the cruise. Since there is no separate charge for attending, there is no refund if you choose not to participate. However, it is encouraged that you attend as they are AzAmazing!

Yes, we can certainly arrange ADA-compliant transportation for offshore AzAmazing Evenings. We just kindly ask that this request be communicated prior to your sail date and that it is reflected in your booking so the ship is well aware and can ensure everything is properly coordinated.

Ashore AzAmazing Evenings typically last 1.5 to 2 hours (includes the cocktail reception and show), not including transfer time to and from the venue. Always check the description and/or shore excursion staff to confirm.

Onboard AzAmazing Evenings are generally shorter, averaging 45 to 60 minutes, as they are held in the ship’s venue without the added transfer.

During AzAmazing Evenings, most of the dining venues open earlier to accommodate guests who wish to dine beforehand. If you choose to stay onboard, all amenities will remain open as usual.
