The ship will debut the next evolution of the Azamara Forward renovation program on October 16, 2027, with a 12-Night Greece & Egypt sailing
MIAMI, March 31, 2026: Azamara Cruises — the small-ship cruise line celebrated for its late nights, overnights, and Destination Immersion®— continues the rollout of Azamara Forward, the brand’s most extensive fleetwide renovation program to date. As part of the initiative, Azamara Onward will enter dry dock in November 2027 to receive the full Azamara Forward enhancements.
The program introduces a comprehensive set of onboard upgrades designed to elevate the guest experience while maintaining the intimate feel of Azamara’s small ships. Azamara Forward includes a transformation of onboard nightlife venues, a new interactive dining destination, a reimagined cocktail lounge, refreshed staterooms and suites, and upgraded public spaces across the ship.
Azamara Onward will debut its Azamara Forward enhancements on October 16, 2027, when the ship departs Athens on a 12-night Greece and Egypt cruise. This sailing will mark the ship’s first voyage following the renovation and will introduce guests to the next evolution of Azamara’s upscale small-ship experience. Following its return to service, Azamara Onward will continue sailing in the Mediterranean before crossing the Atlantic later in the season to begin Caribbean itineraries.
This dry dock follows the debut of Azamara Forward on Azamara Quest, with timelines for Azamara Journey and Azamara Pursuit to be announced at a later date. Azamara Forward marks a new chapter for Azamara Cruises, emphasizing personalization, elevated comfort, and meaningful connections with each destination. Launching with an inaugural sailing on December 18, 2026, the program debuts all-new suites exclusively aboard Azamara Quest, paired with immersive culinary experiences and refined onboard amenities—setting a new benchmark for small-ship cruising.
