Azamara Cruises Launches “A Suite Story” Global Contest

Guests can help inspire new suite names on Azamara Quest for a chance to sail on the Azamara Forward preview cruise.

 

MIAMI, March 25, 2026 - Azamara Cruises, the small-ship cruise line renowned for its Destination Immersion® experiences and Extended Destination Days, today announced the launch of “A Suite Story,” a global contest inviting its community to help inspire the names of new suites aboard Azamara Quest. One grand prize winner will also receive the opportunity to sail on Quest’s 1-night preview cruise out of Miami following its Azamara Forward renovations on December 17th, 2026.

The contest invites guests, crew members, travel advisors, and employees to submit the name of a meaningful city, that guests have sailed to on Azamara cruises, along with the personal story behind their connection to the destination. Selected submissions will help inspire the final names of 12 new suites on the new Penthouse Deck debuting as part of Azamara Forward, the brand’s upcoming initiative focused on enhancing onboard spaces and the overall guest experience.

“Azamara has always been about the destinations we visit and the connections our guests make along the way,” said Dondra Ritzenthaler, Chief Executive Officer of Azamara Cruises. “With A Suite Story, we’re inviting our community to share the places and experiences that stayed with them long after their sailings, helping inspire suite names that will celebrate those moments and welcome future travelers.”

Participants can submit their entries on www.azamara.com/suite-story by sharing:

  • A proposed city name that participants have visited onboard Azamara Cruises
  • A short story explaining the inspiration behind the destination
  • A photo from the city location

The Azamara Cruises team will review all entries, and a select number of submissions will help inspire the final suite's names unveiled as part of Azamara Forward.

The contest timeline includes:

  • March 23 - Contest launch and submissions open
  • April 19 - Submission period closes
  • May 8 - Final suite names and grand prize winner announced
