We are proud and excited to introduce Azamara Forward– our transformational plan for enhancements to the onboard experience that both celebrate our heritage as well as carry Azamara into the future as the global leader in Destination Immersion. Informed by what our guests and travel partners have told us they love and want more of, Azamara Forward is a proud continuation of the story we have written together and an invitation to experience the world with fresh perspective.
Thoughtfully designed enhancements are being introduced across the fleet—elevating the spaces guests enjoy throughout their journey. From refined staterooms and wellness spaces to revitalized venues, each update reflects a modern approach to comfort, design, and everyday moments onboard.
Subtle yet meaningful enhancements bring a fresh, contemporary feel to staterooms and suites, with updated finishes, improved lighting, and design details that enhance comfort and functionality.
The Sanctum Spa is refreshed to create a more serene, restorative environment, with updated finishes and calming design elements that invite relaxation and renewal at sea.
A reimagined Cabaret Lounge featuring refreshed design, improved sightlines, and a more intimate atmosphere—creating an elevated setting for live performances and evening entertainment.
Public restrooms throughout the ship are thoughtfully updated with modern fixtures, refined materials, and improved layouts—enhancing comfort and consistency across shared spaces.
As part of Azamara Forward, culinary and social spaces are being thoughtfully reimagined to create more immersive, inviting experiences—where cuisine, conversation, entertainment, and destination-inspired design come together seamlessly.
Discoveries Restaurant
The Discoveries Restaurant will be completely redesigned with contemporary décor, refined lighting, and new furnishings, all set within a warm, inviting color palette designed to heighten every dining experience. The refreshed atmosphere brings modern sophistication to Azamara’s signature dining venue, creating a setting that feels both elegant and relaxed from breakfast through dinner.
Atlas Bar
Atlas Bar comes to Discoveries Restaurant on all four ships, evolving the space while continuing to offer our complimentary beverage selection alongside thoughtfully crafted cocktails and premium spirits. Bringing Atlas Bar to the heart of the ship adds a vibrant, destination-inspired cocktail experience, giving guests even more choice in a welcoming space designed to bring everyone together each evening.
Chefs Table
Now with a permanent home, the Chef’s Table experience offers an intimate culinary journey in an elegant, dedicated space. Expanded themed menus inspired by global culinary traditions, guest chefs and winemakers, and immersive Market Dining Experiences bring each destination to life. Timeless millwork, bespoke wine displays, ergonomic seating, and breathtaking views place guests at the center of the experience—where every detail enhances the journey.
Exclusively aboard Azamara Quest, Azamara Forward introduces an entirely new Penthouse Deck—marking a meaningful evolution in our onboard experience. Constructed atop Deck 10, this all-new space debuts two exceptional suite categories: the Panorama Suite and the Grandview Suite. The Sun Deck will continue to be an inviting open-air sanctuary on top of the new Penthouse Deck.
Offering generous living and dining spaces, a calming bedroom retreat, an oversized spa-inspired bathroom, and sweeping 270-degree views, the Panorama Suite represents the most expansive and refined accommodations introduced as part of Azamara Forward.
Blending refined contemporary design with floor to ceiling views, as well as spacious, expanded bathrooms featuring dual sinks and spa-like showers, the Grandview Suite introduces a retreat designed for relaxed comfort and modern living at sea.
We pride ourselves on being the cruise for those who love travel, so from the moment you book your cruise with us, we want your entire trip to be smooth sailing from start to finish.
Azamara Forward is our transformational plan for enhancements to the onboard experience across the entire fleet that both celebrate our heritage as well as carry Azamara into the future as the global leader in Destination Immersion small ship cruising.
Azamara Forward is informed by what our guests and travel partners have told us they love and want more of and is a proud continuation of the story we have written together and an invitation to experience the world with a fresh perspective.
Yes. There will be shipwide enhancements across all four ships introducing refreshed public spaces, upgraded staterooms and suites, new restaurant and bar experiences, and refined design details that enhance comfort and ambiance throughout the fleet.
Exclusively on Azamara Quest, we are announcing the new Penthouse Deck with two new suite categories.
As Azamara Quest hosts the 2027 World Cruise, she is the natural choice to debut Azamara Forward and introduce its most transformational elements.
Azamara Quest will go into dry dock in Athens on October 31, 2026, immediately after completing a seven-night cruise. The drydock will take place at the Onex Elefsis shipyard in Piraeus, Greece. The work is expected to last 26 days with cruises resuming on November 26, 2026. While the ship will be brought back into operation on this date, and the enhancements complete, the new Penthouse Suite Deck will be available for sailing beginning with the December 18, 2026 cruise departing from Miami.
Azamara Forward will officially debut on Azamara Quest with her inaugural sailing on December 18, 2026.
Azamara Onward will be the second ship to receive the shipwide enhancements in 2027. Details and timing will be announced later in 2026. The timing for enhancements for Azamara Journey and Azamara Pursuit will be announced thereafter.
Azamara Forward enhances Destination Immersion® by improving how guests experience destinations onboard — through cuisine inspired by local markets, social spaces designed for connection, and accommodations that bring the outside world closer through design and views.
Shipwide enhancements include refreshed public venues, upgraded stateroom and suite soft goods and furnishings, renovated spa spaces, reimagined dining, bar and lounge venues, and updated public bathrooms — all designed to improve comfort, ambiance, and functionality.
Each ship will receive shipwide enhancements aligned to the Azamara Forward vision, with scope and timing tailored to each vessel.
The Penthouse Deck will be exclusive to Azamara Quest.
Azamara Forward introduces elevated dining and bar concepts that deepen destination immersion through cuisine — including a permanent Chef’s Table venue on all ships, the expansion of Atlas Bar across the fleet in the space just outside of Discoveries Restaurant, and the reimagining of Discoveries Restaurant.
Chef’s Table has long been a guest-favorite pop-up experience aboard Azamara. Azamara Forward evolves this concept by giving it a permanent, dedicated venue on Azamara Quest, allowing for more private, intimate experiences, innovative menus with carefully selected ingredients, and the opportunity to offer a wider variety of culinary journeys through immersive storytelling.
Yes. Atlas Bar will be expanded to all four ships during their respective dry docks, in the space just outside of the Discoveries Restaurant. During Azamara Onward’s dry dock in 2027, Atlas Bar will move from its current location to the space just outside of Discoveries Restaurant to add the dedicated Chef’s Table experience. As the Atlas Bar concept is already on board the Onward, when the Quest concept launches on November 26, 2026, the Onward experience will adjust to the crafted cocktails and the complimentary range experience at the same time.
Atlas Bar will continue to be destination-inspired with artisanal cocktails drawing from all corners of the world and the destinations to which we sail. Additionally, guests will be pleased to enjoy complimentary beverages alongside carefully crafted cocktails. This change will begin on Azamara Quest on the November 26, 2026 sailing and will be incorporated into the concept as it expands to other ships.
