Grand Voyages are longer itineraries of 35+nights that allow you to more deeply immerse yourself in a specific region or country of the world. Along with standard inclusions like gratuities, AzAmazing Evenings®, and more, you’ll also receive up to $2000 USD airfare, Wifi for two devices, Upgraded Premium Beverage Package for two, 1 bag of laundry a week, and Shore Excursion credit*.
A Grand Voyage is comprised of multiple underlying cruise segments. Guests can book individual segments on their own, however, the Grand Voyage inclusions are only available to guests that book the complete Grand Voyage.
Yes, you can add additional sailings before as Back-to-Back options, however the sailings before or after the Grand Voyage will not receive the additional Grand Voyage amenities. Please note, you may not be guaranteed the same cabin on the sailings before or after as you have on the Grand Voyage, but we will make every effort to secure the same cabin if possible.
The procedure will vary in each segment, based on the current local requirements. Prior to each segment, guests will receive advanced communication detailing what is expected. There will be Back-to-Back gathering on the ship for all guests, during which the process will be explained.

We require passports for everyone. Documentation requirements depend on each guest’s citizenship and date of travel and are specific to the countries being visited. The minimum age to consume alcohol on Azamara ships while in Europe, Asia, South America, Australia and New Zealand is eighteen (18). The minimum age to consume alcohol on Azamara ships while in North America is twenty-one (21). Azamara reserves the right to raise the minimum age of alcohol consumption on any sailing when local laws require or permit such a modification. No guest under age 18 may possess or consume alcohol at any time while onboard. Any guest who goes ashore and consumes alcohol (whether under the supervision of a parent/guardian or not), is responsible for ensuring they consume responsibly and retain their ability to recognize and avoid potentially dangerous situations when they return to the ship. Parents/guardians are reminded they are responsible for the actions of their child/young adult at all times while on an Azamara cruise vacation.
If a guest celebrates their birthday during the cruise vacation, and thereby becomes of age to consume alcohol, the guest may thereafter ask the Guest Relations Manager to modify ship’s records to permit their consumption of alcohol during the remainder of the vacation. The guest will be required to appear at Guest Relations to present a valid government-issued form of identification to permit verification of their age.

No, Grand Voyage guests are booking a stateroom for the entire duration of a Grand Voyage. Any upgrade requests must be made before the start of the first segment.
Yes, this is possible, based on availability. Changes to different cabin categories may result in a different fare, and a difference in fare would need to be paid by the guest when confirming the move.

Grand Voyage cabins are expected to be booked and occupied by the same guests for the entire Grand Voyage. Any guest needing to disembark early or requesting to leave the ship mid-voyage and return later will need advance approval, subject to local regulations.

Every Azamara vessel is equipped with a medical facility. At least one licensed physician and one nurse are generally in attendance on all Azamara® voyages. Select medical services and medications are available for a fee, though medication types are limited. While we’re here to help with any medical issues that arise, our medical facilities are not intended as clinics for guests, and Azamara is not responsible for the diagnosis, treatment, or services furnished by shipboard medical personnel, who are independent contractors.
Guests requiring continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis are welcome onboard all Azamara vessels. However, Azamara does not have the ability to assist or administer hemodialysis treatments. Guests using peritoneal dialysis should have all solutions and equipment needed to perform the dialysis delivered to the vessel on the day of sailing at least two hours prior to departure. Please contact us for more information on dialysis policies and procedures.
All types of oxygen are permitted onboard. If you are dependent on oxygen or require oxygen therapy, you must supply your own oxygen, and meet certain requirements prior to boarding the ship. Please contact our Access Department at 866-592-7225 for additional information.
Expectant mothers are welcome, however Azamara cannot accept guests who will be more than 23 weeks pregnant at any time during the cruise. All guests are required to sign a health questionnaire at check-in to ensure they are aware of our pregnancy policy.
We will have clergy onboard if your Grand Voyage falls on major Christian and Jewish Holidays such as Christmas, Easter, Yom Kippur, Passover, Hanukkah, Rosh Hashanah. On Sundays if the ship is at sea, an interdenominational service may be held by the onboard staff.
While some countries accept U.S dollars, we recommend that you familiarize yourself with each country’s accepted currencies. The ship carries US Dollars and Euros. Any other currencies will have to be obtained locally.

On ships departing from ports in Europe, Asia, South America, Australia or New Zealand, no person under eighteen (18) (a 'minor') may sail on any cruise holiday or have a stateroom on his or her own unless accompanied by a parent, a legal guardian or authorised person who is over the age of eighteen (18). Please note that for any of our ships sailing from a port in the US or Canada, the minimum age for the above policy will be twenty-one (21). Infants sailing on a cruise must be subject to the 12 month minimum age requirement. Denial of boarding for infants who do not satisfy these minimum age requirements may also result in the denial of boarding for one or more guests sailing with that infant. No refunds or other compensation shall be due from cruise line to anyone as a result of the denial of boarding to an underage infant or other accompanying guests.
Yes, the Grand Voyage benefits are combinable with the onboard booking offer.
In general, guests are expected to remain on the ship for the entire voyage. Guests can submit requests to disembark and rejoin later, but these requests must be approved by Azamara, with no guarantee. Guests will not receive a refund for any skipped voyage days.
