Frequently Asked Questions

We pride ourselves on being the cruise for those who love travel, so from the moment you book your cruise with us, we want your entire trip to be smooth sailing from start to finish. Check out our frequently asked questions and find answers.

Booking happens in two parts. Reserve your cruise, and any pre- or post-cruise extension, with Azamara Cruises® or through your travel advisor. Then reserve your golf package directly with our partner, Premier Golf, by calling 470-408-2717 or emailing cruises@premiergolf.com. If you book through our contact center, they will connect you directly to Premier Golf.

No, but we recommend booking both reservations within a few days. Reserving a golf package does not hold a stateroom for you. Staterooms on golf sailings are limited, so booking early gives you the best choice. Similarly, reserving a cruise does not hold a golf package for you.

The Classic Collection is built for golfers who enjoy walking the course, often at traditional courses where carts are limited or not allowed. The Leisure Collection includes a golf cart at every course. If you're unsure which suits you, ask yourself whether you'd be comfortable walking 18 holes several times during your voyage.

Your package includes multiple rounds at hand-selected courses, green fees, and private transfers to and from each course. You'll also have an onboard golf host, lunch on golf days, and full care of your clubs throughout the cruise. Welcome and farewell receptions help you connect with fellow golfers from the first day to the last.

Each package features a set collection of courses chosen for the destination. Because tee times are arranged well in advance, courses can't be swapped or customized.

Yes, we encourage you to bring your own clubs in a small carry bag with a travel cover. Once you're aboard, your clubs are stored safely and cleaned, and they're brought to and from each course for you.

Yes, Azamara works with Ship&Play to help guests coordinate the shipping of their clubs.

Absolutely. Non-golfers are welcome at all onboard golf receptions, dinners, and gatherings. Whether they can accompany you on the course depends on each course's policy, and there are plenty of shore excursions to enjoy while you play.

Yes. Select sailings offer pre- and post-cruise extensions at renowned courses such as Torrey Pines and Mission Hills. You can book these directly with Premier Golf.
