Incredible Iberia

Explore the luxuries and simple pleasures of Spain and Portugal on this wonderful spring voyage from Iberia to Ireland with Azamara. We embark from Barcelona, where you might want to visit early to see the astounding Sagrada Familia among the many sights in this spectacular city.

After a day at sea, a late-night stay in Malaga means you can experience its vibrant nightlife, as well as meander through the Alcazaba, visit the excellent Picasso Museum, and sample Andalusian cuisine. With an early morning arrival in Gibraltar, you’ll be able to switch Spanish gears for a little taste of Britain. Make your way to the top of the Rock of Gibraltar (be it by cable car or foot) for stunning views, St. Michaels Cave, and Barbary macaques.

Your journey continues with an overnight stay, in Lisbon, Portugal. Take a city sidecar tour, go on a day trip to Sintra, and treat yourself to excellent ports from the Douro Valley. Next, fall in love with Porto, a centuries-old city known for its robust port wine trade and a former European Capital of Culture. Savor fresh seafood and meander along the eight-mile Paseo Maritimo in La Coruña, Spain before a day spent sailing to Ireland. This is the perfect opportunity to savor our onboard specialty dining at Aqualina or Prime C—or both! We stop in Waterford, home of that famous crystal since 1783, before concluding your voyage in Dublin, where a story waits around every corner.
