Enjoy an authentic glimpse of rural life in New Zealand compliments of the Johns family and their Paua Bay Farm. This land has been in the family for six generations and you'll learn all about its history from Murray Johns, the family's patriarch. Pay a visit to the woolshed, where Murray will talk about the early days of farming and how its changed since 1837. Watch the seasoned farmhands shear wool off the resident sheep, and meet the farm's team of trusty sheepdogs. Afterwards, go for a stroll about the grounds to see free-roaming livestock and take in splendid ocean views. Amble through lovely gardens and embrace the rugged charms of rural New Zealand. Head back to the family homestead, where fresh-baked scones and tea will be served on the veranda. Sit back, relax and enjoy taste of farm life while admiring the sweeping countryside views.
