History Comes Alive in Ancient Greece

There’s a lot to love about Greece. Gleaming white homes and blue domes, cuisine that celebrates the vibrance of local ingredients, ancient history that set the stage for the modern world—and so much more.

Begin in the birthplace of European civilization—Athens. Then, it’s on to Mykonos with its beautiful blue harbor and quaint seaside restaurants. With a late stay in port, you’ll get to experience that magical Mykonos nightlife.

Sail to Turkey with a day in Kuşadası where you’ll find the beautiful Library of Celsus, the Odeon, the great theater where St. Paul preached, and the house where Mary, Mother of Jesus, once lived.

Then it’s back to Greece with a late night stay on the island of Rhodes. Ponder a knight’s life as you stroll the cobblestoned Street of the Knights, past sandstone buildings and charming turreted buildings of this old medieval town. Feel humbled at the Monastery of Saint John the Theologian in Patmos.

After a night of relaxation and entertainment on board your boutique hotel at sea, arrive in the gem of the Aegean, Santorini. We stay late in this stunning port, so take your time strolling the bustling streets and volcanic beaches before finishing your day with a glass of Vinsanto and a postcard-worthy sunset.

Chania’s harbor leads to an old city touched by the intersection of diverse civilizations throughout history, with  a mixture of Greek, Venetian, and Ottoman influences on every corner. Then it’s back to where your journey, and Western civilization, started as your Greece adventure comes to an end in Athens.
