Join your Professional Interpretive guide for a narrated tour that winds through downtown and showcases local cultural heritage and significant historic landmarks. Board Mount Roberts aerial tram for a scenic uphill climb to an elevation 1,800 feet above sea level. Here, you’ll enter a realm of temperate rainforest, sweeping alpine meadows and majestic mountain peaks. Enjoy a guided walk along well-trodden rainforest paths alongside your naturalist guide who’ll provide insight into the biology and wildlife life found along the way. With a little luck, you might spot a wandering black bear, soaring Bald Eagle or an adorable whistling marmot. Make your way to the rustic Alpine Tea House for a tasting of herbal teas, jams, and jellies derived from the bounty of the rainforest.
Board the shuttle with your interpretive guide and wind through downtown Juneau, passing Gold Creek, Sandy Beach and the iconic statue of Taku the Whale.
Take an aerial tram ride up 1,800 feet above sea level for a trek through the tranquil rainforest.
