INSPIRATION ABOUNDS

You’ll embark on this inspiring voyage from Athens, Greece. After a relaxing day at sea, we'll arrive the following morning in Limassol, Cyprus where the quaint narrow streets are filled with lively characters, tavernas, and shops. Visit sites like Kolossi Castle, a former Crusader stronghold; the Grand Mosque in the old Turkish quarter; the Archaeological Museum; and Limassol Castle, allegedly where Richard the Lionheart married his queen during the Third Crusade.

Awake the next morning for an overnight stay in Haifa. Situated in the shadow of a meticulously manicured Baha'i shrine and tropical garden, Haifa is a gateway to many holy sites, including Nazareth, Galilee, and the River Jordan.

From here, it's off to another overnight stay—this time in Jerusalem. A spiritual city, Jerusalem is diverse and distinct. Make a pilgrimage to Mt Zion, or stroll the Garden of Gethsemane— home to some of the oldest olive trees in the world. If you prefer your history in a museum, explore the Israel Museum. Of particular significance here is the Heikhal HaSefer (Shrine of the Book), the home of the Dead Sea Scrolls. Venture outside the city to visit the Dead Sea - the lowest point on earth.

It's another day aboard your boutique hotel at sea before arriving in Heraklion. Here you’ll discover the many treasures at the Archaeological Museum, regarded as one of the most important museums in Greece. With a history that dates back to the 9th century, Heraklion has seen its share of travelers over the millennia, so you’ll fit right in.

Your journey comes to an end in Athens—take an archaeological walk past landmarks like the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Ancient Agora, and of course, the Acropolis.
