This tour is not suitable for full-time wheelchair/motorized scooter users.
Guests with limited mobility should be accompanied by an able-bodied companion who can provide assistance.
Transportation though well maintained is very basic and may not be up to typical Western standards.
Expect bumpy driving conditions as there are many pot holes in Maputo and stretches of dirt road.
No formal guide qualifications are required in Mozambique. In order to support the local community Azamara uses local guides, many of whom do have experience guiding cruise line passengers.
