OverviewHide
Drive from the port—the most active port in the country and Latin America (a quarter of the products that come into Brazil enter through it)—past the beach and Mount Serrat before heading to your cooking class at the Estacao Bistro's cooking school that will immerse you in local culinary traditions. The restaurant is on the ground floor of a building with neoclassical features and inspiration in Victorian architecture. Built as a passenger station by the English company Sao Paulo Railway, today the building houses the Municipal Secretary of Tourism and the Bistro Station School Restaurant, which is the result of an exclusive partnership between the Catholic University of Santos and the Santos City Hall for the inclusion of young people between 18 and 29 who are in situations of personal and social vulnerability. Every day, two dishes are offered, which are prepared by the chef and young people at the school restaurant. Join your chef for a fascinating, hands-on cooking lesson on authentic Brazilian dishes, then sit down to enjoy a well-deserved lunch.
