Explore the home of Pharaohs, Kings & Emperors

This voyage takes you to the spectacular places once ruled by history’s most famous pharaohs, kings, and emperors of the ancient world in Italy, Egypt, Israel, and Cyprus. It begins in Rome where you’ll embark on your journey from The Eternal City. Our first stop is a late-night visit to Sorrento, where you can meander the pedestrian-only streets, take a hydrofoil over to the legendary isle of Capri, and treat your taste buds to limoncello. In Amalfi, visit the beautiful cloister, and take a winding drive along the famous coast road.

A late stay is on the agenda for Siracusa, once one of the largest and most important cities in Western Civilization and home to classic sights like the Ortygia, Neapolis, and the Basilica of Santa Lucia. It’s the perfect place to immerse yourself in Sicilian cuisine with a cooking class.

Take two days at sea to rest, relax, and indulge in a spa treatment—plus some electric onboard entertainment. Early in the morning, arrive for an overnight stay in Alexandria—the gateway to Cairo and the pyramids.

After a day at sea, we arrive in Haifa, where an overnight stay and late-night give you plenty of time to discover its archaeological and biblical sites of wonder, including Nazareth, Galilee, the Jordan River, and Elijah’s Cave.

Then it’s on to Jerusalem, where we’ll be staying for two full days, including one overnight stay. Walk the Stations of the Cross, or see some of the most celebrated shrines on Earth, including the Western Wall and the Dome of the Rock atop the Temple Mount.

Awake the next morning in Limassol, Cyprus. Stroll narrow streets lined with shops, bars, and tavernas, and visit museums and historic sites like the medieval Limassol Castle, built over one thousand years ago. Enjoy a final blissful day at sea before disembarking in Athens, home to a treasure trove of historic, cultural, archeological sites.
