Take a scenic walk through the medieval town of Dinan, known for its breathtaking old world architecture. From the moment you enter Dinan, you'll notice its almost two miles of protective ramparts, 14 towers, and three city doors. Walk down the ancient streets, admiring the half-timbered houses, constructed using a unique method in which the structural elements use timber and the spaces between utilize other materials like stone, plaster, or wattle and daub. Dinan boasts a collection of one hundred houses that date from the Middle Ages through the 18th century. Take a stroll along the Rue de l'Horloge and see the Saint Sauveur Basilica with its stunning Romanesque porch. Finally, enjoy some free time to explore the city at your own pace, before meeting your guide at the Du Guesclin statue.
