Continue your drive to the Corniche Kennedy Road, which runs alongside the sea, to the iconic Notre Dame de La Garde Basilica with its Roman-Byzantine architecture. Also, view the islands guarding the entrance to Marseille from this spot. Next, head to Vieux Port, the Old Harbor and heart of the city, where you are free to stop at a café or seafood restaurant, stroll the marina viewing yachts, or visit Fort Saint-Jean or the Romanesque-style Saint-Laurent Church.
Relax as your drive takes you past Marseille’s landmarks, including Voûtes de la Major and the cathedral, and along Corniche Road for incredible sea views.
Visit the Notre Dame de La Garde Basilica, a symbol of the city, where you can admire its Romanesque style and learn its historical significance.
Spend free time in the upscale Old Harbor of Marseille, which is full of restaurants, shops, locals, and picture-perfect views of the sea.
