Adventure to the Northernmost Point in Continental Europe and Beyond

Norway has a reputation as one of the most beautiful countries on Earth. Now, see more of it than ever before with Azamara©—from its soul-stirring fjords to vibrant towns teeming with culture and sophistication.

This expedition begins in Southampton, England followed by a day at sea before arriving in Stavanger to spend time strolling lanes lined by 18th-century wooden buildings. Then it’s off to Bergen, where the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Bryggen is a must visit.

From here, we’ll visit Flam and its beautiful mountain railway before sailing to Gudvangen, then Geiranger—home of Geirangerfjord. While here, make your way to The Seven Sisters waterfalls for a look at one of the world’s most awe-inspiring natural wonders.

After a day at sea, explore Svolvaer, the beautiful Troll Fjord, Norway’s gateway to the Arctic, Tromsø, and Honningsvåg. From this tiny hamlet, we’ll cruise to the North Cape—the northernmost point in all of continental Europe.

The next morning, we arrive for a day in Alta and the Sautso-Alta canyon. Then, it’s off to bustling Harstad and rugged Bodø, followed by time to recharge on your boutique hotel at sea. Your voyage through Norway concludes with a late night in Ålesund before another two days at sea for the return journey to Southampton.
