Day 1 Approximately 9 hours Discover St. Petersburg and Moscow on this 2-day exploration. Explore St. Petersburg’s rich history, culture, and unique treasures on this grand journey through the heart of this iconic city. See Palace Square, cross the Neva River, and view the magnificent rostral columns of the Spit of Vasilievsky Island, passing Peter and Paul’s Fortress. Then, enjoy a guided tour of the Winter Palace. In the Old Hermitage, you’ll view a splendid collection of Italian Renaissance masters, including paintings by Leonardo da Vinci and Rafael. The Dutch collection traces the course of Rembrandt’s career - from his early masterpieces to his final revelations of genius. After a delightful lunch at a local restaurant, you’ll visit the iconic Russian masterpiece - the Church of the Spilled Blood and continue your city panoramic tour of St. Petersburg. Day 2 Approximately 18.5 hours Board Russia’s “Sapsan” train and zoom to bustling Moscow in the comfort of business class seats. Set off on a guided adventure that takes in the legendary landmarks of the capital. Visit Red Square and gaze out at the onion-shaped domes of St. Basil Cathedral. Embark on an interior tour of the Kremlin. Explore the Armory Chamber, home to court regalia, golden carriages and priceless Faberge Eggs. Stroll into Cathedral Square, dominated by the golden domes of the Kremlin’s three great houses of worship. During your visit to the Kremlin you will have the opportunity to enter one of these cathedrals. Leaving the Kremlin, take a ride on the Moscow Metro. Created during the Stalin era, its opulence is more palatial than public transportation. Marble, mosaics and grand chandeliers abound at every turn.   • Russian visa included in price.Guests with dietary restrictions should inform tour operator with 24 hours' advance notice.Flash photography is restricted in some areas of the Hermitage Museum.
  • Guests must be able to walk approximately 2.7 kilometers over various surfaces. Tour is not recommended for persons with walking difficulties.
  • The transfer to/from the St. Petersburg train station is approximately 45 minutes each way, dependent upon traffic conditions. The Kremlin being the official residence of Russian President is subject to closure without prior notice.
  • The Kremlin and its territory is closed on Thursdays.The Museums may change their expositions without notice.
  • The route/itinerary may vary.No refund can be guaranteed if cancelled less than 65 days prior to arrival in port. No cancellation fee applies if the tour cancelled 65 days prior to the tour dated.
  • Space is limited but a minimum is required to operate.This tour must be purchased in advance of boarding the vessel and may not be available for sale once on board.
  • Please complete the guest information details. Should the minimum not be met by 65 days prior to the start of the cruise, the tour will be cancelled.
  • This tour cannot accommodate children under the age of 10 years.Please note that changes in train schedules may occur and are beyond the control of the local operator and cruise line. These changes and/or delays may cause interruptions in the return to the ship due to coaches being held at Neva River Bridge crossings until the bridges are returned to full operation.
  • If any changes in the train schedule occur the train rides will be changed for the flights. This information will be available 60 days prior to the tour date.All the guests who can't pass through the metal detectors (for example those who have cardiac pacemakers) should provide all necessary medical documents for the Security Guards (in the airports or railway stations) confirming this fact.
  • Tour sequence may vary.Refunds will not be issued for any missed days in the package.Kindly that according to a new regulation of the Hermitage Museum all visitors with pace-makers need to carry a medical document with them confirming this fact to allow them not to go through metal detectors at the entrance to the Museum. If they don't carry such a document with them they will have to go through a metal detector otherwise they will be denied access to the Museum.
