Cruise the Caribbean
Your voyage begins in sunny Fort Lauderdale, home to 24-miles of golden beaches, an eclectic arts & culture scene, and 300+ days of sunshine a year. If an active vacation is what you seek, look no further—there’s plenty of opportunity to enjoy nature, boating, snorkeling, and scuba—not to mention an array of beachfront shopping and dining.
After two nights spent aboard your boutique hotel at sea, you’ll arrive in San Juan, Puerto Rico, for a late-night stay. Sample a local delicacy, like mofongo, paired with Puerto Rico’s national drink: the piña colada. Before you leave, pay a visit to El Yunque Rainforest—the only tropical rain forest protected by the United States National Forest System. Then, it’s on to St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands. During your stay, take a guided hike through Reef Bay Trail, or discover the underwater world at Trunk Bay—one of the world’s most stunning beaches. Next, a late night in Philipsburg, St. Maarten provides plenty of time to visit Paradise Peak—a breathtaking observation point at 1,400 feet—and see both the French and Dutch sides of the island.
Then, spend the day beach hopping on St. Barts, in the charming capital, Gustavia—a tropical paradise with French flair. Once you’ve had your fill of sea, sun, and sand, explore the dramatic scenery in your own ATV, cruise the coast in a speedboat, or shop ‘til you drop in luxury boutiques. The next morning, arrive in the British Virgin Islands on Tortola. A big draw for outdoor enthusiasts, Tortola is home to stunning snorkeling experiences—particularly on Norman Island, the location of the novel Treasure Island—and beautiful, rarely-crowded beaches. Relax and refresh with two rejuvenating nights at sea before arriving back where you started in Fort Lauderdale.
