Embrace the culinary traditions of Corfu during an interactive workshop hosted by Vasiliki Karounou, an acclaimed local chef and cookbook author. The class is reserved for no more than 14 guests, so that each one enjoys an attentive, immersive and fun gastronomic experience. Kick things off with some insight into the vineyard and gardens where the restaurant is located. Learn what makes the Corfiot diet one of the healthiest in the Mediterranean, and delve into the principles of Greek culinary culture. Then, it's time to get busy. You'll prepare a five-course meal using time-honored recipes and the freshest ingredients in keeping with local customs. Chef Vasiliki will lend a hand if needed, however, this is your chance to cook Corfiot. After class, savor your creations paired with local wines, and, take home a copy of Chef Vasiliki's cookbook as a quick refresher course anytime you need it back home.
