OverviewHide
Depart Adelaide and journey into the Mount Lofty Ranges for a friendly wildlife adventure in the Australian bushland. Spend the day at Cleland Wildlife Park, a sweeping facility encompassing some 172 acres, where many of Australia’s native animals are allowed to roam free in their natural habitat. Witness fierce Tasmanian Devils and adorable kangaroos and wallabies. Stoll beside glistening lakes where exotic waterfowl have found a home, and see lightening-fast emus, the second-largest bird in the world by height, bound across the open landscape. There’s also the chance to see and learn about wild dingoes and some of Australia’s slithery reptiles. For the ultimate keepsake, have your photo taken with one of the park’s too-cute-for-words koalas. After a great day out in the bush, unwind on the scenic drive back to Adelaide, offering wonderful views of the gulf, city and Adelaide Plains.
