This tour is suitable for guests in wheelchairs and those with limited mobility.Guest with limited mobility should be accompanied by an able-bodied companion who can provide assistance.
Conservative attire is required. No shorts or tank tops. No exposed knees or shoulders. No tight or transparent clothing. No beachwear or swimwear.
Women will be asked to wear a traditional robe (Abaya) and headscarf (Shayla) before entering the mosque. Guests may wear their own Abaya or purchase one at the gift shop for USD $40-$50.
Shoes must be removed prior to entering mosque. Therefore, slip on shoes are recommended. No sandals or exposed feet.
Holding hands, kissing, touching or other intimate behavior is not acceptable in a Muslim place of worship.
Guests are asked to stay within the designated areas of the mosque.
Inside visit to the mosque may be cancelled due to special circumstances and holidays.
Guests must be able to walk approximately 1-2 miles over gravel, concrete, tile and carpet surfaces.
There are a number of wheelchairs available for use at the mosque.Loose fitting clothing; long sleeves (up to the wrist), long skirts and trousers (up to the ankle).
White color clothing can sometimes be considered transparent and is not recommended.
