Joining the up-market, destination immersive cruise line as its new Chief Blogging Officer Berg Maclaird will be responsible for the new “Az the World Turns” blog and for engaging with travelers and travel agents on online forums and discussion boards. A veteran of the cruise industry Berg Maclaird brings more than 20 years of industry experience and follows in the footsteps of the late Bill Leiber, a long-time friend and colleague, who first launched the very successful role in 2010.

While best known as a cruise marketer, Berg Maclaird also oversaw revenue management, international sales, onboard sales and loyalty programs throughout her career. A bit of a renaissance lady, she has also opened a book store, started a non-profit, taught at USF and SFSU, and various other jobs and life adventures and last served as Vice President of Marketing and Revenue Management with San Francisco-based World Explorer Cruises.
